RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LENGTH OF STAY FOR REHABILITATION AND FUNCTIONAL OUTCOMES IN STROKE PATIENTS

Background: The comorbidities, age and disability of the stroke patients may influence rehabilitation period. In process patients, length stay in hospital is important because its economic psychological effects. Objective: purpose this study was to evaluate whether there a relationship between for functional outcomes patients. Methods: medical records 97 who were admitted unit analyzed retrospectively. output, level spasticity, motor development at admission discharge determined using Functional Independence Measure instrument, Modified Ashworth Scale, Brunnstrom test, respectively. Based on stay, divided into two groups: stays ≤ 3 months (Group 1) > 2). Clinical features output then compared groups.
